TRAIN

Kaua'i Plantation Railway Tour
“Not to be Surpassed”
Welcome aboard any of our three Conductor Narrated Authentic Train Tours of the historic 105 acre Kilohana Plantation. Sit back and relax in our elegant mahogany passenger cars as you tour and see the tropical beauty and bounty Kilohana. In 1986, Kilohana opened its doors to the public. Translated from Hawaiian, the name Kilohana literally means “not to be surpassed.” This was certainly the case in 1935, when sugar baron Gaylord Wilcox built his legendary 16,000 square foot plantation estate. In its heyday, Kilohana was the site of many extravagant parties and ceremonies. It remains a Historic Landmark and one of the finest examples of plantation era architecture in Hawaii.
Climb aboard our 40 minute conductor-narrated fun and authentic train tour of the 105 acre Kilohana Plantation. You’ll be entertained and educated by our fun loving conductors, and amazed when you see our rows of over 50 varieties of fruit tree orchards, fruit fields, vegetable gardens, rare and exotic tropical flowers, forest, plants, hardwood trees, and animal pastures with donkeys, goats, sheep, horses, cattle, ducks, geese, and our fun loving herd of wild pigs. The train will stop and you can disembark and feed our wild pigs, goats and sheep.
